Our History
Snook & Aderton HVAC Supply was established in 1948 in Lubbock, Texas, by Edwin Snook and Bud Aderton. Shortly thereafter, the company expanded with an additional location in Amarillo, Texas. Over the years, ownership transitioned from Edwin Snook and Bud Aderton to Leon Davidson, Roy Voyles, Bob Snook, Dale Sedberry, Keith Voyles, and Wayne Davidson.
In September 2023, the company was acquired by Matt Smith, with Zach Maldonado and Brandon Viveros brought on to lead operations. One year later, in September 2024, Zach Maldonado purchased the business alongside his father-in-law, Rex Kennedy, and brother-in-law, Thomas Kennedy.
Since 1948, Snook & Aderton has served as a distributor, manufacturers’ representative, and wholesaler of HVAC equipment and parts. With access to hundreds of thousands of parts, we are committed to supporting our customers with dependable products, knowledgeable service, and additional capabilities such as sales engineering and system design.
We proudly offer HVAC equipment, replacement parts, and accessories from many of the industry’s leading brands, including Reznor, Williams, Cooper & Hunter, Fireye, Space-Ray, Champion Coolers, Honeywell, and SunStar.
Today, Snook & Aderton operates from its location in Lubbock, Texas, while continuing to expand its online store, offering more than 800,000 products from over 300 manufacturers to customers across the United States.

Zach is the president of Snook & Aderton. Zach and his wife, Grace, have two boys and a daughter. He has years of experience running and building businesses and is excited about growing the legacy of Snook & Aderton in West Texas and beyond!
