The Amana-Goodman LAKT24 is a Low Ambient Large Chassis control board, an OEM part designed for use with Amana and Goodman HVAC systems. The control board allows an air conditioning unit to operate efficiently in low-temperature environments. The LAKT24 control kit is installed in the air conditioning condenser and works by adjusting the fan motor speed to control the refrigerant pressure. This allows the air conditioning system to operate in outside ambient temperatures below 65°F.
