Air Xchange 18180003 is a desiccant energy recovery wheel for an HVAC system. The wheel, with manufacturer number 301857B, is specifically designed for the ERC1904 model made before March 7, 2007. In an energy recovery ventilator (ERV) system, the wheel rotates between the incoming outdoor air and outgoing exhaust air streams. It transfers a percentage of the heat and moisture differential from one air stream to the other, which helps pre-condition the incoming air.
